THEIYĀ ARTS YOUTH DANCE GROUP

Theiyā Arts Youth Dance Group is a pre-professional performing group for young people between the ages of 11 to 18 years old.

This programme is a space for young dancers who are already committed to learning a South Asian classical dance form.

It offers a chance to engage with current and relevant themes using the movement vocabulary of the classical style they train in,

explored through a contemporary lens.

Theiyā Arts – Youth Dance group Call out 2025-26

We are inviting applications to register interest in joining Theiya Arts Youth Dance Group for 2025-2026

We are currently inviting new members to join us for the period of September 2025 to August 2026.

This years’ choreographic theme will be the Climate Crisis. Young dancers will collaborate both individually and as an ensemble to develop choreography. They will work under the direction and guidance of our experienced choreographers from the Theiyā Arts Dance Collective, alongside guest musicians and visual artists.

Interested young dancers are invited to complete an application form and will then be invited to attend a workshop and interview with members of the Theiyā Arts Dance Collective on Saturday 23 August 2025, from 13:00-16:00
